Mission Statement
The Radiation Control Office is responsible for maintaining the radiation health and safety of the University of Arizona, University Medical Center, University Physicians Healthcare, Kino Hospital, El Rio Health and communities at various research locations around the state. The RCO ensures compliance with all relevant ionizing and nonionizing radiation regulations while supporting the evolving research of our customers and requirements of the regulatory agencies.
